Wyoming Liquor Divison Current News:

Tim Mangum
Senior Agent of the Liquor Division

Lost his battle to cancer on Wednesday night October 7,2009. As many of you know Tim spent 20 years as a submariner with the Navy. There will be no service as the Navy has agreed to give Tim a burial at sea from the top side of a submarine. Tim's wife wants to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers and to let everyone know that a memorial is tentatively set for this coming May 5th which was Tim's birthday.

KEG TAGS

Just a quick reminder that W.S. 12-2-502 requires that any beer sold in kegs must apply a keg tag to that keg. Keg is defined as: "a single container that contains not less than seven (7) gallons of malt beverage." The Liquor Division is the sole supplier of keg tags in Wyoming and a request form is now on our website at: http://eliquor.wyoming.gov . From the home page click on the link "More Information" found under the heading WLD Information Page. Then click on "Liquor Licensee Order Info" and you will find a link to the order blank for more keg tags as well as a set of instructions. PLEASE order a six month supply and then when you get to within a months supply on hand re-order another six month supply. We have been receiving way too many phone calls for keg tags from licenses that are completely out and need tags to complete a sale. Wyoming Liquor Division Rules and Regulations, Section 19. (c) gives the Liquor Division thirty (30) days to fill a request for keg tags. It usually will not take that long but we can have some instances where all compliance agents are tied up at the same time and it may take several days to process your keg tag order. If you have any questions concerning the keg tag program please contact Agent Kelly Hunt at 307-777-6449.
